HOUMA, LOUISIANA , UNITED STATES, March 26, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Houma, Louisiana dentist, Dr.Jan Villemarette has been selected to the "America's Best Dentists" registry for 2018. Selections were made by the National Consumer Advisory Board, an organization that identifies top professionals in their fields.Dr. Villemarette practices Cosmetic, Family & Implant Dentistry in Houma serving patients in Terrebonne and Lafourche parishes and their surrounding areas.
Services include: cosmetic dentistry, advanced full-mouth rehabilitation, dental implants (including implant placement and restoration), intravenous (IV) sedation, oral surgery, crowns, veneers, Invisalign, teeth whitening, dentistry for children and the medically-compromised, and general family dental care.
Dr. Jan Villemarette received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS) from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 1999, where she continues to lecture today. She then completed a two-year General Practice Residency at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, where she focused on treatment of medically-compromised patients and sedation dentistry. After completing her residency, Dr. Villemarette served as an associate clinical professor at LSU, where she continues to lecture today.
She is involved with the Boot Campaign, which delivers services to veterans and their families. She also participates in Donated Dental Services to provide dental care to under-served communities in the area.
The "National Consumer Advisory Board" accepts no fees, sponsorships, donations or advertising in their selection process. Dentists were chosen following an application based on training, experience, continuing education, and dedication to excellence. Only Dentists that satisfy all of the board's criteria can qualify for inclusion in the "Americas Best Dentists" directory.
