Johnny Dangerfield reflects on decade of Success as a Golfer

John Cornelius Dangerfield has gone on to further hone his skills as a golfer in the decade which has followed.

CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA, UNITED STATES, August 14, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Over the course of the last ten years, Johnny Dangerfield has taken part in many high profile golf tournaments and events. The South Carolina-based golfer has claimed further tournament victories at Bulls Bay Golf Club, including last year and in 2015. Dangerfield has also claimed back to back victories at the Daniel Island Club, located just outside Charleston, alongside fellow golfer Marc Horne, winning the 2017 Fall Hunt and 2018 Spring Chase tournaments.

In addition to numerous tournament wins, Johnny Dangerfield's efforts on the golf course have also helped him to raise the profiles of a number of organizations, charities, and other good causes with which he's affiliated. These include Mount Pleasant-based Seacoast Church.

"With locations throughout North Carolina and South Carolina, Seacoast Church exists to help people grow their faith, discover their purpose, and make a difference in the world," says Dangerfield of the non-denominational church.

What's more, golfing isn't John Cornelius Dangerfield's first foray into the world of professional sports. A keen car and racing enthusiast, the Mount Pleasant resident has also taken part in high-octane motorsports events such as the Annual Discount Auto Parts 200 presented by ROL Gaskets at the USA International Speedway.

Based near Lakeland, Florida, the speedway also hosted events such as the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, ARCA Racing Series, and CRA Super Series. "Sadly, the USA International Speedway was closed in 2008 and the track completely demolished in 2012," reveals Dangerfield. The former speedway site now sits as a vacant lot.

"While I have a love for many sports, and in particular motorsports, it's golf that I'm most passionate about," Johnny Dangerfield explains.

Discussing his golf tournament wins at Charleston's Daniel Island Club, John Dangerfield shares more about the luxury golf resort. "The Tom Fazio-designed Beresford Creek course is a par 72 course which traverses pristine marsh, creeks, and waterways, providing incredible views," points out the golfer.

"The resort's second course," he adds, "set against a stunning backdrop of natural saltwater marsh and tidal creek vistas, Ralston Creek, designed by acclaimed golf course architect Rees Jones, is an 18-hole masterpiece."

The club also boasts aquatics, fitness, tennis, croquet, bocce, and kayaking amenities, plus accommodation, meeting, and numerous other facilities.

"The last two tournaments at the Daniel Island Club have been brilliant," says Dangerfield, wrapping up, "and I look forward to attending plenty more events there in years to come."
