Best dressed at day one of Liverpool Comic Con 2024
Here are some of this year's best costumes so far
Crowds of colourful costumes were spotted in Liverpool for day one of Comic Con 2024.
The twice-a-year convention takes place over this weekend, Saturday May 4 and Sunday May 5, with panels and guests planned for both days.
Hundreds of fans turned up to enjoy the opening day, queuing to see the line-up of guests that includes Lord of the Rings favourites Orlando Bloom, Andy Serkis, Sean Astin and Elijah Wood.

From Star Wars to Terminator, all sorts of costumes were spotted at the first day of the event. ECHO photographers have been capturing them since the first Liverpool Comic Con six years ago.
