3 teens injured in rollover crash
CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - Three teenagers were injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash early Sunday morning, April 27.
The crash happened around 2:45 a.m. on Highway 25 north of Route K in Cape Girardeau County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 17-year-old Cape Girardeau boy was driving when his southbound car went off the left side of the road, hit an embankment and then flipped.
MSHP said the driver was taken to a Cape Girardeau hospital with serious injuries.
The driver’s passengers, a 15-year-old Jackson boy and a 16-year-old Cape Girardeau boy were also taken to a Cape Girardeau hospital.
MSHP said the two passengers suffered minor injuries.
Highway patrol’s online crash report shows everyone in the vehicle was wearing a seat belt and the car is considered totaled.
