Questar III BOCES to launch first CTE summer camp for students in July 2025

RENSSALAER COUNTY, NY (WRGB) — The Questar III BOCES will host its first-ever Career and Technical Education (CTE) Summer Camp this July!

The camps are designed for rising 8th- 10th graders and will be held in Troy at the Robert H. Gibson Technical School from July 14-18, 2025, and in Hudson at the Donald R. Kline Technical School from July 21-25, 2025. Both camps will run from 9 AM to 2 PM daily.

Students attending will have the opportunity to explore careers in the trades through:

• Learning about welding, construction, electronics, and CAD design.
• Building a collaborative project to display at their school.
• Engaging with industry experts from local businesses, colleges, and Questar III programs.
• Discovering other career pathways at two state-of-the-art facilities located in the Capital Region.
