Durham County Council has held a full council election to appoint councillors for its town and parish councils. Durham residents have been casting their votes to elect councillors across the 51 electoral divisions within the county.

A total of 98 councillors have been elected, marking a decrease from the previous 126. The prospective councillor candidates for each ward are listed here.

County Durham's voters have now had their say and the votes have been counted across the county's large and complex geography. The results for every seat in County Durham have updated below as they are announced on Friday, May 2.
