An Asheboro man has been arrested on charges related to child pornography, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office said.
An investigation began on May 8, and Harold Wayne Lewis, 51, of Danny Bell Road was arrested on May 9 on four counts of felony second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, the sheriff's office said. His bond was set at $150,000 secured.
According to an arrest warrant, the charges involve videos or photos of prepubescent girls having sex with a man.
He was also served an outstanding order for arrest out of Chatham County for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor. Bond on this charge was set at $100 cash.
