TransAct Technologies Secures Major BOHA!® Terminal 2 Upgrade with Leading National Convenience Store Chain

April 28, 2025 --

TransAct® Technologies Incorporated (Nasdaq: TACT), a global leader delivering software-driven technology and printing solutions, today announced that a leading national convenience store chain has upgraded all of its 1,400 existing BOHA! units to the new BOHA! Terminal 2. The customer, which has been a long-time user of the original BOHA! Terminal, had approved an upgrade to the BOHA! Terminal 2 across its entire store network. The rollout to all locations was successfully completed during Q1 2025.

The BOHA! Terminal 2 helps store teams boost productivity and efficiency — a critical advantage in today’s labor-constrained environment. By streamlining key foodservice workflows, it enables employees to complete tasks faster, with greater accuracy and reliability, leading to measurable labor savings, improved food safety, and reduced food waste. For multi-unit operators, these improvements scale into significant operational and financial impact.

“We are proud to partner with this leading convenience store operator as they modernize their foodservice operations with the BOHA! Terminal 2,” said John Dillon, CEO of TransAct Technologies. “This full-fleet upgrade, with many locations receiving 2 devices, is a strong endorsement of the value our technology delivers every day. It demonstrates that BOHA! is not only reliable at scale but also a proven driver of ROI, operational excellence, and food safety. We are thrilled to support this next phase of their digital transformation.”

The customer also operates a variety of national brand restaurants within their convenience store locations. TransAct’s BOHA! solutions play a critical role in keeping these restaurant operations running smoothly, ensuring consistent food safety processes and operational efficiency across all their brands.

This latest upgrade further highlights the value of TransAct’s BOHA! ecosystem in helping customers optimize performance, simplify compliance, and achieve operational excellence in convenience store foodservice operations.

Customers and prospects can explore the BOHA! Terminal 2 and the rest of the BOHA! Platform at the National Restaurant Association Show from May 17-20, 2025. Visit TransAct at booth 7250 to see them in action! You may also visit www.transact-tech.com.
